Careers Education and Guidance
September 29, 2011 in by M Rudman
All students in Years 7–11 will follow a programme of Careers Education as part of the PSHE curriculum. From Year 9 all students will also receive careers guidance on future career paths, beginning with their Year 9 Guided Choices.
Hans Price Academy will work in conjunction with local careers service providers in providing guidance and advice to all students. This will take the form of one-to-one interviews and group work.
The Academy has a dedicated careers library with some computer based resources.
Connexions will be provided with, on request, the names and addresses of every relevant student at Hans Price Academy and any appropriate/relevant information held by the Academy about a student which is required by them in order to guide and advise them on career options. However, this is subject to veto by the parents/carers of the student.
